Introduction
The purpose of The Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington, Inc. is to advance the quality of service and the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy among those actively engaged in the field of art direction, and to foster the fraternal spirit among the members thereof; to issue, maintain and extend a code of professional ethics and rules of conduct that will encourage and promote the most frank, honest and fair dealings between the art director and client, associates, government and the public in general; to offer vocational guidance and to promote the general welfare of students who desire to enter this profession and to sponsor nonpolitical activities of mutual interest to its members.
