David Craib

David Craib was born and raised in Montreal. He studied Fine Art in Toronto at York University before pursuing graphic design studies at Ontario College of Art. David worked at several elite corporate design firms in Toronto before moving to Ottawa to become Art Director at two local agencies.
In 1994, David founded Parable Communications to further develop high-end graphic design for the corporate, institutional and cultural sectors in Canada's national capital region.
Parable is a small design studio specializing in corporate identity development, strategic annual reports, publications, and custom design projects such as posters, packaging and event design.
David's work has been published in the United States, Canada and Japan. It has been featured in the Mead Awards, MerComm Arc Awards, PRINT Magazine, Communication Arts, Applied Arts, Studio Magazine, International Logos and Trademarks 4 and 5, and the Advertising and Design Club of Canada.
Some of David's clients have included the World's Fair-Expo 2000 (Hanover, Germany), Cognos, Digital Corporation, DuPont Canada, JDS Fitel, Moore Corporation, the National Arts Centre of Canada, the National Gallery of Canada, the National Native Role Model Program, the National Research Council, Newbridge Networks, Nortel Networks, the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and Transport Canada.
He is a past president of the Graphic Designers of Canada, Ottawa Chapter, and a founding member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario, the second association of fully accredited Graphic Designers in the world. Back

Earl Gee is Partner, with Fani Chung, of Gee + Chung Design, an award-winning multi-disciplinary design firm based in San Francisco. The firm creates successful identity and branding programs, marketing collateral, packaging, exhibits and websites for clients including Apple Computer, Chronicle Books, the Federal Reserve Bank, IBM, Lucasfilm, Ltd., and Sony Electronics.
Established in 1990, Gee + Chung Design has been featured on the Adobe Systems website and is included in Rockport Publications' Graphic Design America: 2, chronicling the work of 35 of the leading graphic design firms in the U.S. The firm has recently been selected by the U.S. Department of Commerce to lead a program promoting international business development.
With over 20 years of experience in design, Earl has been named as one of 50 U.S. graphic designers in the international edition of Who's Who in Graphic Design and has served on a United Nations-sponsored delegation on package design touring the People's Republic of China. He has lectured at several universities and served as a judge for a number of prestigious design competitions. Earl began his career as a designer at Landor Associates, San Francisco and received his BFA in graphic design with distinction from Art Center College of Design.
Gee + Chung Design has been honored with awards from Communication Arts, Graphis, Print, I.D., the American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Art Directors Club, the Type Directors Club and the Society for Environmental Graphic Design. Sayles Graphic Design
John Sayles worked for two Des Moines advertising agencies before starting Sayles Graphic Design in 1985 with his former client, Sheree Clark. The Des Moines-based firm specializes in corporate identity programs, direct mail, package design and environmental graphics. Inspired by design legends of the 1930s and 40s, John's bold and dramatic style and innovative thinking is blazing a trail in different areas of design. John's work is included in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and the United States Library of Congress, and he has been the recipient of over 1000 awards for design excellence, including four national ADDY awards. The firm's work has been featured in international publications including Advertising Age, Applied Arts, Communication Arts, How, Graphis, Print and Step By Step magazines as well as design annuals and reference books, generating invitations to speak and judge competitions around the country. John passionately collects Danish Modern and other 1930s through 1960s artifacts for his home and studio, including industrial products like cameras, toasters, cocktail shakers, dinnerware and clothing.
