Analyst/Programmer (Web Manager) Temp

Job Description:

 

RGM Incorporated seeks an Analyst/Programmer (Web Manager) for ON-SITE contract work at NIH for approximately two months starting in July 2012 through September 2012. This is a temporary, interim position while our full-time employee is out on leave.

 

Successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in designing web graphics, excellent Web coding skills, and able to manage projects.

 

TASKS/SERVICES:

 

The contractor shall conduct the following activities with general guidance from the supervisor:

 

*       Serve as the first point of contact for Web site queries by staff. Serve as the interim coordinator for all Web projects.

 

*       Maintain constructive working relationships and effective lines of communications with the scientific and communications staff members.

 

*       Set priorities and balance staff demands, cope with change and complexity, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and bring projects to timely completion.

 

*       Serve as the fill-in lead graphic designer and page builder for the Web site and Sharepoint. Plan, design and implement graphic design to effectively communicate client's mission and scientific priorities. Use computer-based graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop.

 

*       Design and code Web pages using user interface best practices, including accessibility and usability. Use HTML, CSS, Javascript, DOM scripting, and AJAX. Use code to automatically include content from other sources via RSS and similar technologies.

 

HOURS: 40 hours a week for a period of approximately two-months beginning early July 2012 and extending through late September 2012.
